In this context, I commend the tech-based project, NEW- North-East Region Entrepreneurs’ World. The NEW portal will capture data of the aspirational youth of the North-east concerning their entrepreneurial visions. The objective is to provide requisite credit support and impart specific skillset to the youth for achieving their goals concerning start-ups, business ventures and other livelihood activities.

I encourage all North-East budding entrepreneurs to register themselves on the NEW portal. Project NEW will enable the North-east to become the next start-up hub, accelerate India’s Act East Policy and be building blocks for ‘atmanirbhar bharat’- A NEW India in the future.
